Having Trouble Viewing This Site?
If you’re having difficulties seeing our web pages properly, it may be a browser issue.
If your pageview looks like this, where the logo is opaque or gray (click picture for larger image):
Then you’re probably using Internet Explorer version 6. This version is not supported by our website. IE6 is a very old browser, is no longer supported and it does not work with modern web site protocols. In addition to page rendering issues, IE6 is not particularly secure. You should no longer use it and we strongly recommend upgrading to a modern web browser such as:
These browsers will not only render ours and other websites more accurately, they are also more secure, offer more features and are significantly faster, particularly Safari, Chrome and Firefox.
If you happen to be using Internet Explorer 7 or 8, you might see the site look like this (click picture for larger image):
If you see the Linden Woods logo graphic overlaying the text, then you’ve likely set your IE browser into “compatibility mode”, where it’s trying to render the page the way IE6 would see it. You must turn off compatibility mode by unselecting it in the “Page” menu (click picture for larger image):
After disabling “compatibility mode”, you should see our site properly - and many other websites will likely work much better, too.
